Terms of use
Welcome to Think Nest! These terms are the rules for using our website and services. By creating an account or using Think Nest, you agree to them. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian agrees to them for you.
1. Accounts
- Give true, up-to-date information when you sign up.
- Children under 13 must be signed up by a parent or guardian.
- Every new account is checked by the Think Nest team, and we may decline any account.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- One person, one account. A teacher who is also a parent can use one account for both.
2. Being a good member
Think Nest is a kind, safe and respectful place. Everyone must:
- Be kind and respectful. No bullying, unkind comments, hate or discrimination.
- Not share private information, such as phone numbers, home addresses or passwords, theirs or anyone else’s.
- Not post anything inappropriate, violent, frightening, or unsuitable for children.
- Not pretend to be someone else, or try to get into another person’s account.
- Not use Think Nest to advertise, spam or sell things without our permission.
- Use Report if something isn’t right.
3. Hubs and cafés
- The Teacher Hub (Beyond the Bell) and Parent Hub (Beyond the School Run) are for adults, and joining needs our approval.
- Conversations, meetups and private messages in the hubs must be professional and respectful. Personal, romantic or private invitations are not allowed.
- Meetups must be group meetups, online or in a public place, never at someone’s home.
- Think Nest is not responsible for meetups arranged by members, but we may remove any meetup.
4. What you share
- You keep ownership of what you create. You allow Think Nest to show it to the people it is shared with, so the service can work.
- Only share things you have the right to share. Do not upload other people’s work, photos of other people without permission, or copyrighted material you don’t own.
- We may remove anything that breaks these terms, and we may review reported or flagged content.
5. Teachers
- Teacher accounts are approved by Think Nest. Teachers must keep their teaching professional and age-appropriate, and follow safeguarding good practice.
- Teachers must only use student information to support those students’ learning, and must never contact a child privately outside Think Nest.
- Lesson materials made with AI tools should be checked by the teacher before students see them.
6. Learning and certificates
- Courses, objectives and revision materials are for learning and practice. Official exams, grades and qualifications are only awarded by schools and exam boards.
- Think Nest certificates celebrate learning and effort. They are not official qualifications.
- Links to other websites are provided to help, but we are not responsible for their content.
7. Ending an account
- You can ask to delete your account at any time from Account Settings.
- We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, especially where someone’s safety is at risk.
8. Our service
- We work hard to keep Think Nest running smoothly and safely, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
- We may change or add features, and update these terms. We will tell users about important changes.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
